LaonPeople Unveils AI Agent Platform ‘HI FENN’ at Microsoft AI Tour

LaonPeople showcased its generative AI agent platform HI FENN at the AI Tour in Seoul, hosted by Microsoft.

HI FENN is an enterprise-grade AI agent platform designed to drive workplace innovation. Beyond simple chatbot functions, it enables companies to create task-specialized generative AI agents, enhancing both workflow efficiency and overall productivity. Powered by LaonPeople’s DEEPSCAN engine, the platform analyzes complex document layouts—including charts, tables, and text—automatically corrects errors by understanding contextual intent, and supports multilingual operations to streamline wide-ranging business tasks.

At the Microsoft AI Tour, LaonPeople highlighted how HI FENN can extend and integrate within the Microsoft ecosystem.

A LaonPeople official explained,
“Many of our customers, including semiconductor and manufacturing companies, store data on local resources or internally built systems due to strict security and operational requirements, making system integration challenging. HI FENN seamlessly integrates with these local resources and proprietary databases. It also supports easy app-based connections to external databases and various Microsoft products, in addition to providing API integration for generated AI agents.”

The official added,
“We plan to offer HI FENN as a cloud-based solution built on Microsoft Azure OpenAI and expand compatibility with more Microsoft product lines to further enhance the customer experience.”

HI FENN also offers the capability to directly import database information and use it through natural-language queries—addressing a key challenge many companies have faced when building DB-driven AI agents. Through these advanced capabilities, the platform is expected to deliver not only workflow innovation but also significant productivity gains by creating optimized AI-assisted work environments.
