LaonPeople Supplies Generative AI Platform ‘HI FENN’ to Hyundai Elevator

Automated speech logging with DEEPSCAN Speech now fully commercialized

A breakthrough technology that automatically converts work-related conversations into text and retrieves the correct manual simply by photographing an error code has been successfully commercialized.

LaonPeople, a leading AI solutions company (CEO Suk-Joong Lee), announced on the 27th that it has developed a generative AI–powered business automation platform, HI FENN, and supplied it to Hyundai Elevator as part of the company’s digital transformation initiative.

HI FENN enables organizations to freely create and manage their own custom AI assistants. With Advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology at its core, the platform allows enterprises to search and utilize internal documents with high accuracy. It also connects seamlessly with existing internal systems such as CRM (Customer Relationship Management), while providing robust access control for both documents and AI assistants.

A key component of the platform is DEEPSCAN Document, LaonPeople’s proprietary AI engine capable of accurately interpreting complex sales specifications in PDF format—including text, tables, and charts. This eliminates the need for sales teams to manually review lengthy documents. HI FENN automatically extracts required specifications, registers them in the CRM, and analyzes differences between new and existing specifications, supporting highly detailed and time-consuming tasks.

A LaonPeople representative explained,
“Elevator field technicians traditionally had to record notes via voice memos because using a laptop on-site was impractical. Later, they manually entered the content into the system, which was time-consuming and inefficient. With HI FENN, all spoken work details are automatically converted into text and registered in the system. Customer discussions conducted on-site are recorded the same way. Moreover, when an issue occurs, technicians can simply take a photo of the error code with their smartphone, and HI FENN instantly retrieves the relevant manual—enabling much faster response.”

The representative added,
“Using our proprietary DEEPSCAN Speech engine, we enhanced denoising capabilities so that speech recognition remains accurate even in noisy construction environments. We further improved accuracy by implementing speaker diarization and building a specialized vocabulary dictionary for elevator-specific terminology. These enhancements dramatically improved Hyundai Elevator’s workflow efficiency. In on-site satisfaction evaluations, field technicians gave high marks for DEEPSCAN Speech’s accuracy and overall convenience.”

This project was carried out through collaboration among LaonPeople, its subsidiary TDG, an MS Cloud specialist, and Hyundae MoveX. LaonPeople plans to continue advancing the platform throughout the year by enhancing AICC (AI Contact Center) capabilities based on DEEPSCAN Speech, and expanding Agent Flow–based automation, enabling the company to support a wide range of applications across industries.
