AI solutions company LaonPeople (CEO Suk-Joong Lee) announced on the 20th that it has released the beta version of HSK Code Master, an AI agent specialized in customs classification search, and will offer a free one-month trial.
HSK Code Master automates one of the most challenging tasks for export-import professionals: searching for the correct HSK classification code.
HSK codes cover an extremely wide range of product categories, and in specialized fields such as semiconductors or pharmaceuticals, practitioners often need more than three hours to look up case precedents, compare similar items, and review historical rulings to find the correct code.
The new AI agent reduces this workflow to under one minute.
Based on product descriptions entered in natural language, the system follows a decision-making process similar to that of a licensed customs broker. Using sequential reasoning, it recommends the most appropriate HSK code, provides clear and logical justifications, and even automates tasks such as export/import declaration preparation and customs duty calculation, dramatically enhancing operational efficiency.
HSK Code Master also learns from user behavior—such as frequently searched codes and recurring usage patterns—to provide increasingly accurate, personalized recommendations. The service is expected to significantly improve workflows for customs law firms, export/import companies, and FTA compliance teams.
