Laon People’s ‘Odin AI’ Earns National Certification in Seven Security Categories
Generative AI–powered Odin AI demonstrates advanced multi-context recognition capabilities

Laon People, a leading AI vision company, announced on the 28th that its generative AI–based video analytics solution Odin AI has obtained seven certifications in the Intelligent CCTV Performance Evaluation program administered by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
The newly certified categories include arson, fighting, abandonment, and falling, in addition to previously certified categories such as intrusion, loitering, and marketing behavior detection. This expansion indicates a significant enhancement in Odin AI’s intelligent detection capabilities.
Unlike conventional CCTV systems that only identify simple object-level events—such as whether a person is wearing a safety helmet—Odin AI analyzes complex scenarios in real time using Vision Language Models (VLM) combined with Large Language Models (LLM). This enables context-aware interpretation, such as recognizing that “a worker not wearing a safety helmet has entered a hazardous zone,” and issuing an appropriate alert.
A Laon People representative explained, “Odin AI, as a single solution, can comprehensively detect various abnormal behaviors including emergency situations such as fire, falls, and fights, as well as restricted area intrusion, collapse, and abandonment. Through this expanded KISA certification, we have further enhanced the solution’s credibility, and we expect its competitiveness to be significantly strengthened in the global market as well.”
