AI cloud specialist TDG has been awarded a commendation from the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Science and ICT in recognition of its contributions to Korea’s digital innovation and ICT development.

TDG, a subsidiary of AI technology company LaonPeople, received the ministerial commendation at the 2025 Korea Digital Innovation Awards hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

As a leading provider of global software licensing, R&D support, technology services, and proprietary solutions, TDG has achieved remarkable performance in recent years. In particular, the company recorded more than 210 billion KRW in revenue last year—an increase of over 30% year-on-year—accelerating its external growth and significantly contributing to the government’s digital transformation and innovation agenda.

According to the company, the award formally acknowledges TDG’s achievements in creating economic and social value through the integration of AI and cloud technologies.

Kim Joo-young, Head of TDG, stated, “Our continued growth as a core leader in the cloud market—powered by our development and technical capabilities across cloud infrastructure, operations, security consulting, and solution development—was highly recognized through this award.”

He added, “This commendation is expected to generate meaningful synergy with the government’s vision for advancing Korea’s ICT sector and realizing a digitally empowered nation.”

Building on this recognition, TDG plans to continue its stable growth through sustained profitability, while further investing in multi-cloud expansion, SaaS transformation, and AI-integrated services to solidify its position as a top-tier AI cloud enterprise.
