The client company is a coil manufacturer that wants to introduce the Vision Solution that checks the coils for welding within the correct range.

If a rule-based inspection is introduced to check that the coils tilted in different directions are welded in the correct position, it will take a long time to review various points, including the welding point, the direction of the coils, and the location of the coils within the welding point.

 LAON PEOPLE provides a vision solution that categorizes images collected in the field into accepted/defective products and accurately classifies accepted/defective products just by deep learning.

3D Camera

One of the test items that are actively expanding applications using LAON PEOPLE 3D camera is welding inspection. Defective inspections of welding applied to cars, pipe manufacturing, and H beams can also be more easily performed with 3D cameras.





A 3D image is not required for welding inspection. Profile mode can also be applied for welding bead tracking inspection of a constant structure, as shown in [figure 2]. Continuous mode inspection allows inspection of height, cut, length, width, and angle of welding at the same time.




[figure 3] below shows detection of defects when the welding width and height are lowered in the middle of the bead.




[figure 4] is an application that can be checked at once, in addition to welding inspection, to the height of tightening bolt. In the case of a bolt welding inspection, the use of a dual camera minimizes the shaded area, making it more accurate.




Dual Camera Mode is one of the inspection methods using multiple cameras to remove laser or camera shaded areas caused by the product structure and can be easily implemented using API provided.

Clients wanted to introduce vision solutions to the process of laser welding point defect inspection during product production.

In an environment where visual inspection is impossible, it is required to identify defective types with a vision solution in a more accurate and faster time to detect various types of defects as a single solution.

Clients were having difficulty in inspecting defective/accepted products because they had to inspect various defect types for the purpose of preventing welding debris in an environment where visual inspection was impossible immediately.

LAON PEOPLE provided a vision solution that enables inspection of defective/accepted products through learning of deep learning after classification of defective types and products.

The client company who is the refrigerator manufacturer wanted to introduce vision solution to the inspection process for the defective compressor parts that can occur during the product processing process.

It was required to resolve the types of defects identified by the existing visual inspection with a vision solution in accurate and faster time and detect various types of defects as a single solution.

The role of optics in vision inspection is very important, but the process of inspection was delayed because the lighting on the market did not solve the compressor's processing surface defect.

LAON PEOPLE created an optical condition that can analyze the pattern of defective machined surfaces using its own lighting, and provided a vision solution that enables inspection of defective/accepted products through deep learning after simple classification of optical patterns.
